Hey everyone, it's been a while. I would just like to say that I am so proud of a missionary from Houston who was wrongly called to this mission and has finally set things straight.
I'm glad they ensured there will no longer be another missionary who will take their rightful calling to Philadelphia again. Even though they used non-deterrable actions to achieve their goal. This time they ensured the person who was in their way before will never serve a mission again later because of them. Good luck on your mission to Philadelphia in the future. I'm glad you finally get your rightful calling in life. Good luck with your "efforts."

I have been thinking of my mission over the last few months and was wanting to get back in contact with my old companions and presidents and having a hard time tracking people down. I would love to hear from anyone and everyone.

For those who have served in the beginnings of THEM. 1991 or so, you might of known DR Mccord from Winnie, Texas. The stake he belong to was Port Arthur or Beumont Stake. DR was the BEST Ward Mission Leader in that whole area. WHile other people would talk, DR was about ACTION. He was a very UNIQUE individual, who I ,learned to admire and love, just like many of you , who came into contact with him. If you needed a dollar, he would give you three.DR was always about "GIVING". My two years serving in the Texas Houston East Mission helped me build a strong foundation in my Life. The reason , i write this is because he passed away, this past Thursday, the 9th of February 2012. If you would like to donate flowers, money and or leave a message, I urge you to do so. THEM, you are in Our prayers!Hopefully, everyone is doing well. I saw some of the pictures of Galveston, Sabine Pass, Baytown and they do not look that great! One thing, I do know is that THEM will be up and running once again!

For those who have served along side me in 1996-1998 under President Stringham and President Brennan it would be nice to hear back from you to see how you are doing.
There is also a great site Facebook to communicate with others and have games and fun activities. It would be nice to see those who I served with on that site. Its free and it doesn't cost anything.

Brent (Elder Moser) and I (Sister Hughes) would love to do a reunion this summer sometime if anyone who served with us would be interested. WE live in utah and love to see anyone who would like to come. We have plenty of room to house a lot of people for those of you who would be out of state. Let me know if anyone is interested. We figured it's been 10 years since Pres. Stingham has come home and it would be fun to catch up.

I thought some of my old friends from THE Mission would like to know that I am finally getting married!! It is to a man that I dated back at Ricks College a long time ago. I am deliriously happy. We will be married in October after which I will move to Cardiff, Wales, where he lives. Yes, that's right; I'm moving to Great Britain. He is from there and it is what feels right. I would love to hear from any of you that I served with. I just felt like posting to say that life is very good right now.
