I can't believe it has been over 24 years since I served a mission. I have been fortunate enough to assist with a couple of the reunions during conference, I have seen a lot of the guys and gals from the days of President Marsh. It has been great. I left Venezuela about 21 years ago, but I am always wondering about all the great friends I left behind. Lately my prayers have been focused in the country and wish things will get better. I have served in many positions in my current ward: Sunday school teacher, elder's quorum counselor and instructor, currently serving as the Cub master. I enjoy this calling very much. I have been married for 17 years to a wonderful woman and have two children, a 12 year old boy and a 10 year old girl, they are the reason I have not a black hair left, but they are great, and I love them very much. |
