Comments: Alejandro Portal Campos was born to Pedro Alejandro Portal and Luisa Teresa Campos de Portal in Caracas, Venezuela. He married Beatriz Del Carmen Vargas and they are parents of six children. He attended several universities. He served as mission president, regional representative, district president and bishop. In 1994, the Portals were members of the Maracaibo Central Ward, Maracaibo Venezuela Central Stake. President Portal was director of the Maracaibo Institute of Religion when he accepted the call to serve as president of the Missionary Training Center in Peru. Sources: Links:
