Freddy Valentin Herrera, age 41, accepted the call to serve as president of the Venezuela Caracas Mission. He is a member of La Vuelta Ward, Merida Venezuela Stake. He formerly served as a stake president, high councilor, branch president and district financial secretary. He worked as an administrator. he studied at the Universidad de Los Andes. He was born in Maracaibo, Zulia, Venezuela, to Fredy and Ylma Molina de Herrera. He married Gloria Amparo Garcia Rincon. They have three children.
A stake Young Women president, Sister Herrera is a former ward Relief Society and Primary president, ward Sunday School teacher, and seminary teacher. Born in Colombia to Luis Alberto Garcia Sanchez and Melba Maria Rincon de Garcia.
