A mission is a strange experience.
It's a trial and a test.It throws at you the worst,
But teaches you the best. They told me this would be the best period of my life,
But I wasn't even expecting all the trouble and the strife. I guess I didn't get it explained clear to me.
I came looking for a bed of roses, but there are thorns here. I've never been so happy. I've never been so depressed.
I've often felt forsaken, yet never felt so blessed. Things have never been so confusing. My mind has never been so clear.
I've never felt God so distant, and never felt Him so near. I've traveled countless valleys, and ascended many peaks.
I've met the choicest people, but never so many freaks! I've never had so many ups, and never so many downs.
