To anyone who know Elder Marty:
I was once a roommate of Elder Marty. If you happen to know his email address, please shoot me an email. Me and my wife are dying to hear from him.
Thanks!

My congratulations to the "webmaster" for doing a splendid job of organizing this site.
Daghan Salamat.

I do recall meeting "Surfer Pete", but I don't have contact info. If you wrote a letter addressed as follows, it would probably reach him:
Surfer Pete The Americano
Borongan, Eastern Samar
Phillipines
Elder Webb led me to the forbidden fruit of those waves once when we were there, and I did eat. As chance would have it, some member coming from Guian going home to Dolores spotted us walking on the road soaking wet. The member then told the Elders in Dolores that the ZL's were body surfing. Elder Cortez then finked on us through a letter that I hand carried to the President for him.
Days never to be forgotten.
BTW: We repented!
Is Emmanuel Faith Amoyo Hipe still running the Borongan Body Building gym there? The guy was cool, he let Elder Webb and I train for free there every morning at 5:30 am. Those days going to Hipe's gym was the period that I was in the best health of my whole mission, as Hipe also tunred me on to "High Desert" Bee Pollen while I was there.

Hey guys, does anyone know an email address for "Surfer Pete" in Borongan? He's the American that built his own little surf resort there, and info would be appreciated.

For those of you who somehow, someway have not heard of the band Mr. Trout, I am putting you on notice. Christopher Jones is the lead singer of the band and they rock! Garage Band Central has said they are a band you have to see, and they are right. They rock the house and it would be great for all of us to support Jones in this. I have been to a few but have not been lately, but I am going to get back into the circuit on Saturday.

Welcome to the new Philippines Tacloban Mission alumni site!
Much of the text content from the old site had been preserved and will be gradually migrated, however, all photos were lost. If you have copies, we would appreciate you submitting them to us.
We also have very little information about the mission history or the previous mission presidents. Your help filling in the gaps would be appreciated.
Your comments and suggestions are solicited, and I look forward to seeing the new site progress.
